Legal Warranties
Applies to consumer (B2C) purchases.
As a French company, we provide the statutory warranties required by French law, which apply to digital services like Elenchos:
1. Legal guarantee of conformity
garantie légale de conformité — Art. L224-25-12 et seq., French Consumer Code
For continuously supplied digital services, the Service must remain conforming to the contract throughout the subscription. If it doesn’t, you can request that we bring it into conformity; if we can’t or don’t within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a price reduction or to terminate the contract.
2. Warranty against hidden defects
garantie des vices cachés — Art. 1641, French Civil Code
If the Service has a hidden defect that makes it unfit for its intended use, you may be entitled to a refund or a proportional price reduction.
3. How these warranties work
These warranties apply in addition to, and are not limited by, our Terms & Conditions. They cost you nothing beyond your subscription — they’re a statutory right, not a paid add-on.
[TODO: no blanks needed here beyond [PRODUCT NAME] — this page is largely boilerplate required by French law and shouldn’t be watered down. Have a lawyer confirm the wording matches how your specific SaaS is delivered.]
