Consumer Mediation
Applies to consumer (B2C) purchases.
1. Your right to mediation
In accordance with Article L616-1 of the French Consumer Code, if you have a dispute with us that we haven’t resolved directly within [X days] of your complaint, you’re entitled to refer it, free of charge, to an approved consumer mediator.
2. Our approved mediator
[TODO — this is mandatory, not optional, for any company selling to French/EU consumers: subscribe to an approved consumer mediator (e.g. CM2C, Médicys, or one specific to your trade federation) and insert their name/contact/website above. This is typically a paid annual subscription, often a few hundred euros a year for small businesses.]
[Note: the EU’s central "ODR platform" — previously required boilerplate pointing to ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr — was permanently shut down by the European Commission on 20 July 2025. Don’t include that link on this page; it’s defunct, and referencing it would itself be inaccurate. Refer only to your national mediator above.]
